More than 75 years ago, two scientists named Frederick Franklin and T. Edward Aldam developed a new method for filtering oil in automobiles that helped change the way car parts were made forever. Their company, FRAM, to this day remains a leaning manufacturer of oil filters, and the Retro Fram Filters Lighted Wall Clock pays tribute to the brand. The clock is based on the designs of wall clocks that once hung in filling stations and auto repair shops to promote FRAM filters. A classic FRAM logo is printed on the surface of the face in UV-dried inks, creating a long-lasting, vibrant design.

The Retro Fram Filters Lighted Wall Clock is 14 inches wide by 14 inches high and weighs 7 pounds. At night, you can flip a switch to turn on the 22-watt fluorescent bulb included in the ABS plastic case to light up the face. A scratch-resistant, non-yellowing lexan provides a durable shield for the face and is bolted on with three removable rivets. The clock requires one AA battery.
